Small Fusion Engine
Winner of "Best HPA engine" at the 9th Airsoft Players Choice Awards, the F2™'s dual solenoid design offers the same functionality as the legendary Fusion Engine™ but in a more compact, efficient and flexible design. Dual solenoids allow you to adjust the nozzle and poppet valve independently of each other for unmatched control over both loading time and air volume used. Furthermore, this makes it possible to change the firing sequence giving it the ability to operate in both closed bolt and "AEG" mode.
The F2™ incorporates a new lightweight, one-piece poppet valve design, but still operates on the same Fusion Engine™ poppet principle. This valve is able to operate at lower pressures and uses less air volume to operate, optimizing air efficiency.
A rugged design allows for an operating pressure range of 45 psi to 145 psi allowing the F2™ to achieve speeds from CQB to DMR using a single nozzle across the entire speed adjustment range.
Additionally, its nozzle is pushed forward by a spring that provides a constant loading force regardless of operating pressure. Shares the same spring as the Fusion Engine™ with light and heavy spring options available to adjust loading force.
Gel Compatible Blaster
F2 HPA conversion kits can also be configured for use in gel blasters.
Please contact us to inquire about ordering F2 systems for use with gel blasters.
Velocity: 480 fps with 0.20 g at 145 psi
The F2™ allows for easy velocity adjustment by simply changing the pressure input and does not require different nozzles to reach the entire speed range. Using a standard M4 as an example, the velocity can be adjusted from less than 280 fps and up to around 480 fps with a 0.20 g BB. Velocity may vary by model as longer barrels will increase maximum velocity while shorter barrels will decrease it.
ROF: 30rps
The maximum cyclic rate of the F2™ is influenced by several factors such as the operating pressure, as well as the quality of the magazine and pellets used. However, in most standard configurations 30 shots per second can be achieved.
Aerial efficiency: over 1000 shots from 13/3000 at 1.5 J with 0.28 g
The standard F2™ poppet valve is equivalent to the Fusion Engine™ low-flow red poppet. However, this valve responds faster and requires less air volume to operate, so the F2™ is able to achieve greater air efficiency than even a finely tuned Fusion Engine™.
